Federal Renewable Energy Screening AssistantThe Federal Renewable Energy Screening Assistant (FRESA) is designed to help you identify which renewable energy technologies are appropriate for implementation at both the facility and building scale. Facility-scale applications are technologies that can meet the energy needs of multiple buildings within a facility. Building-scale applications, small in scale, can be used to offset some or the entire load within a single building. The following technology analyses are currently available: | Technology | Facility-Scale | Building-Scale |
|---|
| Level 1 | Level 2 | Level 1 | Level 2 |
|---|
| Wind | X | X | X | X |
|---|
| Photovoltaic | X | X | X | X |

| Solar Hot Water | | | X | X |

Level one screening requires only a few data inputs, based mostly on weather data and utility costs, and provides a general analysis of what renewable energy technologies might be feasible at a given facility. Level two screenings require additional inputs for specific renewable energy results. Several resources are available to enhance your FRESA user experience, including: |
